Funeral Director/Founder

Steve Trevino – Funeral Director/Founder of Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services, is a graduate of the San Antonio College of Mortuary Science. Steve is a National Board Certified funeral director and embalmer as well as a Certified Crematory Operator and possesses 45+ years of experience in all aspects of funeral and cremation service and also possesses a strong administrative/management background. The formation of Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services was a result of this experience. Steve holds the distinction of Mortuary Science Practitioner as designated by the Colorado Funeral Directors Association. Steve has served as past president of both the Denver Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association and the Colorado Funeral Directors Association, and has also served on various committees with the National Funeral Directors Association, while also being involved in numerous civic and professional organizations. Included in these organizations are Past-President of the Parker Chamber of Commerce, Past-President of the Parker Breakfast Club, Past-President of the Air Force Academy Quarterback Club of Denver, Member of the Rotary Club of Parker, 2014-2015 Rotarian of the Year, and Fourth Degree of Ave Maria Catholic Church Knights of Columbus.

Steve, his wife Nanci, and two sons have been active in the Parker community for 35 years.



Nanci Trevino
Funeral Director/Founder

Nanci Trevino – Nanci and her husband, Steve Trevino, were original founders of Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services. Nanci, Steve and their two sons have been active in the Parker community for 35 years. Currently, Nanci serves as Funeral Director/PrePlanning Coordinator and assisting with office administration to Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services. Nanci has earned the distinction of Certified Funeral Director as designated by the Colorado Funeral Directors Association; she also holds a license to sell insurance within the State of Colorado which enables her to sell pre-need funeral plans funded through life insurance policies.



​​Lacee Green
Location Leader

Lacee Green, Location Leader, is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has had the honor of serving families for over twenty years. Having grown up in Kansas and graduating from KCKCC, she worked in various roles in funeral homes in KS. Lacee moved to Colorado in 2015 and came to Ponderosa Valley in 2022. Lacee is eager to serve the families of Parker. When she is not at work, Lacee enjoys spending time at home or traveling.



Debra Edwards
Lead Administrator

Debra Edwards, Lead Administrator, has lived in beautiful Parker, CO, for over 17 years. She dedicated most of her career working in the Health Care Industry, and now shares that same care and compassion with families to help get through the difficult time of losing a loved one.



Lucy Trevino
Comfort Specialist

Let us introduce our comfort specialist, Lucy.  Lucy has been with Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services since 2012, when she was rescued from an Irish Wolfhound Rescue in Conifer, CO.  Lucy loves to greet people and other dogs who visit in the office and gives great comfort to our families.  Lucy is a graduate of the PetsMart obedience class of 2013.  Lucy loves her grandchildren, sleeping and traveling with her family in the RV.  Be warned, if you pet her, you have a friend for life.
