My husband, Gordon Herrald, and I shared a close, warm and treasured friendship with John. We send love and the most sincere sympathy to his family.
John had the ability to add a friendly and positive energy to any gathering. He was an intelligent and humorous conversationalist.
Basically, he could connect very easily with people and he did this at home and on his travels to other countries.
As soon as someone met John, they very quickly sensed this, found him interesting and liked him.
He was just as fun and relaxed on the golf course as he was at a dinner party or on a trip to Cuba.
He loved his beautiful Golden Retriever, Dora, and vice versa. We will contribute to that rescue organization in his name.
John's death is a devastating loss to his family and everyone else who knew and loved him.
We will always think of John and miss him more than words can say.
