Obituary of Jerry Lee Jackson

Jerry Jackson, 83, of Parker, CO, passed away with family at his side on August 2, 2019. Memorial Service 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Southeast Christian Church, Solomon Building (The Colorado Room), 16965 Pine Lane in Parker. Jerry was born February 7, 1936 to Fred and Marguerite (Arnold) Jackson in Mason City, Iowa. He attended two years of college at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. On July 27, 1957, he married Karen Twito. Jerry was a stockbroker for 32 years, his career included working in Denver, CO, Kalispell, MT and Williston, ND. He was also a realtor in Denver for 14 years, retiring in 2005. Jerry's hobbies included singing and double whistling competitively, winning a competition on the Horace Heidt Show. He also enjoyed dancing, especially with his wife, hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling. Jerry is survived by his wife, Karen, children, Kim (Russ) Albert of Parker, CO, Todd (Mary) Jackson of Denver, CO and Jerry (Peggy) Jackson also of Parker, CO, grandchildren, BrannDon (Erynn) Albert of Parker, CO, Stacia (Kyle) Scharf of Parker, CO, Tess (Matt) Wilson of Denver, CO, Tom Jackson of Denver, CO, Mackenzie Jackson of Englewood, CO, Kylee Jackson of Parker, CO and Courtney Jackson of Parker, CO. Also survived by his great-grandchildren, Cecelia, Kallan and Jamisynn Albert, Alee and Colby Scharf, brothers, Denny (Breta) Jackson of LaVista, NE, Fritz (Laurie) Jackson of Bella Vista, AR, and sister, Judy Coppock of Bellevue, NE. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Marguerite (Maggie) Jackson of Bellevue, NE, sister, Billie Hanes of Clear Lake, IA, brothers-in-law, Ed Hanes of Clear Lake, IA and Jerry Coppock of Bellevue, NE.
