Obituary of Dobrila Sertic

Dobrila Sertic, 79, of Parker, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017. Dobrila was born to Milan and Milka (Kovachich) Cabrajac on June 21, 1937 in Zagreb, Yugloslavia. She met and married Drago Sertic in February of 1955 in Popovaca. They had four sons, Branko, Zdenko, Tomislav and Mladen. Dobrila and her husband, Drago, survived Nazi and communist occupations and immigrated to America in 1969. She enjoyed gardening and baking. Dobrila is survived by her husband, Drago Sertic, sons, Zdenko (Frank) and Sondra Sertic of Franktown, Colorado, Tomislav Sertic also of Parker, Colorado and Mladen Sertic of Saint John's, Arizona, three grandchildren, Natalie Sertic of Fort Collins, Colorado, Matthew Sertic of San Antonio, Texas and Zachary Sertic of Franktown, Colorado. Dobrila was preceded in death by her parents, Milan and Milka (Emily) Cabrajac and son, Branko Sertic. Recitation of the Rosary on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. both at Ave Maria Catholic Church, 9056 E. Parker Road in Parker. A Reception at the Church will follow the Mass. Dobrila will be laid to rest next to her eldest son, Branko, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California. Service Information
