Obituary of Samuel Mack McKay II

Samuel Mack McKay II, born: February 15, 1955, Upland California, died: November 28, 2016, Parker Colorado. Parents: Samuel Mack McKay I and Helen Louise Lundahl, both deceased. Memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, December 8th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Stagecoach bar in Franktown, CO. In accordance to his last wishes he will be cremated and his ashes spread in the Pacific Ocean off the Coast of California. After Sam graduated from Cal Poly, Pomona he worked for Hughes Aircraft in Los Angeles. He moved to Colorado in 1985 where he worked and retired from Lockheed Martin, Co. He was a quiet, kind, and generous man and was always easy to get along with. He loved to laugh and smile and loved his family and friends fiercely. He always had a passion for sports whether it was baseball, football, basketball, tennis, golf, and even Nascar. He enjoyed skiing, running, and competing in races as well as playing basketball and softball with friends. He also really loved music, especially Jimmy Buffet, as most of his family and friends will know that he was considered a big Parrot Head. He is survived by his wife: Sheryl Ann McKay, his two sons and step-son: Tanner McKenzie McKay, Andrew Louis McKay, Thomas Dermonte Stephenson. He also leaves behind two sisters: Betsy McKay Ugalde and Vicky McKay Romero.
