Obituary of Sylvia Brooks

Sylvia Santana Brooks passed away unexpectedly on October 27th 2016. Sylvia was full of life and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Her favorite hobbies included photographing her children and grandchildren and rollerblading. We will always remember her spirit, her smile, and her laugh. Sylvia was born on March 18th 1965 in East Chicago, IL to Eva Martinez-Garza and Jose Santana. Sylvia is survived by her children Princess Diamond Brockway, Golden Brockway, Keene Meeker, StarFire Dutton, and Quazar; by her grandchildren Heaven, Alexa, Anthony, Jersey, Colton, and Jameson; by her mother and father; by her siblings Diamantina Santana, John Henley, Geraldo Santana, Kevin Santana, Margarita Santana-Spoden, Antonio Santana, Wiley Henley II, Ruth Henley, Evan Henley, Michaela Gonzalez, Steve Fontana. Sylvia is preceded in death by her step father Wiley Henley, her sister Olivia Santana, her grandparents Ignacio and Margarita Santana. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Services on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Service Information
