Obituary of Dorothy D. Lavery

Dorothy D. Lavery, 79, of Aurora, passed away on October 7, 2016. Dorothy is survived by her 5 children, John, Leo, Margaret, Kathy and Theresa, 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dorothy was born August 27, 1937 to Albert and Edna Hawkins in Chadron, Nebraska. She retired from Samsonite luggage. Dorothy loved to spend her time putting together jigsaw puzzles and watching for all the different birds at her bird feeder. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, and by her siblings Robert and Jeanne. A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Parish on Friday, October 21, 2016, 11:00 a.m. Final Resting Place will be St. Simeon Cemetery in Aurora. Service Information
