Obituary of Dan M. Kranning

Dan Kranning of Elizabeth, Colorado, 66, went to be with Jesus at home with his family at his side on July 23, 2016. Dan’s life is a legacy of selflessness, kindness and generosity. His greatest concern was the care of his beloved family. He was a shining example of a father, husband, grandfather, and friend. His life was marked by honor, compassion, gentleness, and quiet wisdom. Dan was born on February 3, 1950 in Pocatello, Idaho to Adolf Kranning and Louis Tennant Kranning. He is a Veteran of United States Air Force, serving from 1968-1972. He graduated from Idaho State University in 1976 with a Computer Science Degree and later earned his Master’s Degree. After graduation, his career involved Adam’s County, the State of Kansas, the City of Aurora, and Denver Public Schools. He was married to Connie Preusch, the love of his life, for 43 years. He is survived by his wife Connie, daughters Lindsey Bottoms (Kelly) and Ashley Byerley (Seth) of Parker, Colorado, as well as four grandchildren; Tyler, Kenny, Abigail and Aden. He is also survived by his sister Lianna Worley of Idaho Falls, and was preceded in death by his brother Terry. The service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 11:00 AM, at Crossroads Community Church at 9900 S. Twenty Mile Road, Parker CO, 80138. Service Information
