Obituary of Phyllis Rae Ridgely
Phyllis Rae Ridgely, 79, of Parker, passed away peacefully with family at her side on April 9, 2016.
Phyllis was born in Ellsworth, Kansas to Florence and Vernon Easterly, now deceased. Her husband, Lynn, preceded her in death.
The family moved to Aurora in 1939. Phyllis was a 1954 graduate of Aurora High School. She was employed at IREA in Sedalia as a bookkeeper and always active in her Church and choir.
Phyllis is survived by her sister, Joyce Cerven, nieces, Sherrie (Larry) Kozanecki, Linda (Ken) Smith, both of Parker, Michelle (Danny) Morris of Aurora, nephews, Mike (Patty) Cerven, Keith (Teresa) Cerven, both of North Carolina and Ron (Kelli) Cerven of California, 14 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016, 2:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B, followed by a Memorial Gathering at 4:30 p.m. at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 9030 Miller Road in Parker.
