Obituary of Louise Greene

Louise Greene of Parker Colorado departed the bonds of earth on February 4, 2016 at Sky Ridge hospital. A memorial ceremony will be held at the Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church at 4:00 pm on Thursday February 11, 2016 with a reception to celebrate Louise’s life and legacy immediately following at the church. Alice “Louise” Talley was born on December 26, 1944 in Omaha Nebraska to Oscar E. Talley and Elsie Cecil Anderson Talley. She attended Central High School in Omaha and later earned her Real Estate Broker license. Louise married Richard (Rick) Greene in Omaha on April 14, 1963 at the First Christian Church. Louise worked as a Real Estate agent, broker and developer when she wasn’t raising her children or playing with her grandchildren. Louise loved travel, outdoor sports (especially anything on or around water) and most of all she adored her family and friends and never missed a chance to play with her grandchildren. Louise lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment. She was very focused, thoughtful, and dedicated to her work and was very successful at Real Estate, but she never let that get in the way of enjoying her family and friends. Louise was a wonderful mother not only to her children, but to any that were lucky enough to come into her life. Hearing someone say that she was their second mom and always made them feel loved is very common among Brent and Tracy’s friends. Louise adored her grandchildren and loved to attend anything they did and always supported them. If her grandchildren were around you could usually find her playing with them. From horseback riding to snow mobiling and boating/fishing to laser tag she just loved to be with them. Louise always put everyone else before herself wherever and whatever she was doing. She had a servant’s heart and she modeled a life for those around her of humility and kindness. Louise’s legacy of loving, caring and serving was on display in her final days on earth as her husband, children, second children, grandchildren, friends, neighbors and nurses surrounded her and lovingly gave back to her all she had poured into them her entire life. Louise lived her life with grace and she will forever be remembered for her kind heart, sweet smile and total love of life!
