He and his brother Sam moved to California where Nick then met the love of his life, Margaret. They moved to Denver, Colorado in 1946. Blessed with a full life and career, Nick was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, Knights of Columbus, graduated the University of Denver and joined the Colorado Department of Revenue, where he retired with 30 years of service. He continued servicing the accounts of numerous friends and preparing tax returns up until his passing. During his long career, Nick was an accountant and a National Tax Practice Institute Fellow within the National Association of Enrolled Agents. In retirement, Nick spent time with family and spoiled his grandchildren and great grandchildren in between weekly card games with friends. Known to children across the metropolitan area as St. Nick, his red Cadillac "sleigh" will be missed by all. Services will be held Saturday, February 18 at 1 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church, 3900 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, Nick requested that donations be made to the Cerebral Palsy Clinic at Children's Hospital in Nancy Karen Pesusich's honor. Service Information
