Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Nitsch

On August 3, 2010, Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Nitsch, 64, of Annapolis, joined her father in Heaven after a courageous battle with cancer. Liz was born on October 27, 1945 in Baltimore to Albert and Katherine (Pensmith) Shuppel. She graduated from Southern High School and retired from office management after working for private and public industries. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Liz is survived by her daughters, Colleen Katz and Rita Young; sister, Mary Smith; and grandchildren, Kayla, Abigail, Bryce and Rachael. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister Shirley Armstrong. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Kurtz's Beach (Garden Room), 2070 Kurtz Avenue, Pasadena, MD 21122. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, the Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation or a favorite charity. Service Information
