Obituary of Jeffrey Kent Blackden

Jeffrey Kent Blackden, of Parker Colorado passed away peacefully on March 13, 2020. Jeff was born March 14, 1955 in Amesbury, Massachusetts and around the age of four moved to Southern California with his family. Jeff moved from Southern California to North California after he graduated from high school and spent many years in the bay area until he retired to Colorado.

Jeff’s greatest joys were camping and fly fishing. He spent many years in Northern California enjoying his hobbies. Jeff worked in the technology industry and leaves behind his legacy connecting people.

Jeff was loved and cherished by many and is preceded in death by his father; Kenneth Blackden, his mother Margery Blackden, his brother Bruce Blackden, and sister Cindy Blackden. Jeff is survived by his niece Amy L. Ratliff (James B), and her daughters Emily Ann Catherine Blackden and Savannah Cammielle Ratliff, Laurie Meyer (lifelong friend), and his faithful dog companion, Hobbs

Jeff wished in lieu of funeral service that those who loved him to have a celebration of life in the bay area at a future date.
