Hello there my name is Ed Lugan. I also used to be in the Us Air Force working on Cargo Jets. I did not Jim but I Happened to see his face & name on a Documentary Titled: Broken Arrow.” About Atomic Bombs that were Accidentally Dropped. I knew a Christian friend Name Willian Sere Who looked so much like your Jim. He also passed away Last Month. So Sorry for your Loss Folks. He Sounded like a Great Family Man & Great Military Veteran. May Gods Peace be Upon you All. God Bless You Sincerely Mr Edward Lugan!

I'd like to present my deepest condolences to Jim's family and friends.
Being separated by the Atlantic, I never had the chance to be with him personally, even though we exchanged hundreds of e-mails and talked and saw each other through the Internet. Nevertheless, I feel I lost a dear friend. His kindness and generosity to me were absolutely incredible and will never be forgotten!
Rest in Peace, dear friend!

So sorry to hear of Jim's death. Jim was a fellow Nuclear Weapons Technician back in the 50's and 60's in the USAF. We spent a total of 4 years stationed together in Presque Isle , Maine and RAF Station Upper Heyford in England. He will be sadly missed by those that have known him.
Jim was the co-author of 5 Nuclear Weapons books of which I have the 5 and I shall pass them down to my children as a tribute to those of us who maintained our Nuclear Weapons during the Cold War.
Its with a heavy heart that I say goodbye him but I'm sure we will meet again in the future.
