Obituary of John Charles Searcy

John Searcy, 57, of Elizabeth, CO, passed away peacefully at home with family at his side.

John was born on December 23, 1962 in Porterville, CA to August and Geraldine (Olerich) Searcy.  He attended college and on August 22,1 987 married Lisa J. Ludwig at the Lakewood Baptist Church in Lakewood, CO.  John was an entreprenuer and owned his own landscaping business.  He loved hunting, fishing, hot rods and traveling the World.

Survived by his wife, Lisa and son, James Searcy, both of Elizabeth, CO, brothers, Roger (Dorothy) Searcy, Clay (Katie) Searcy and Clint (Kendra) Searcy and sister, Michelle (John) Searcy.

John was preceded in death by his parents, August and Geri Searcy.

The family suggests donations be made in John's memory to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, www.rmef.org.

A private family graveside service will be held at Parker Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
