Obituary of Lynda Dale Teltow

It is with great sadness in all of our hearts that we have lost Lynda Dale Teltow, a long-time resident of Aurora, Colorado who died unexpectedly on October 28, 2020, at the age of 76.

Lynda was born in Morrilton, Arkansas on September 5, 1944 to John and Katherine McCormick. Her career was spent with her husband running Colorado Tire & Service.  On December 29, 1962 Lynda married Norman Teltow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She welcomed her son, Tom in 1963 and daughter Kathy in 1968. Lynda enjoyed life and she spent many hours co-piloting with her husband in their Piper Warrior pa28. She also held the 1st Lady title for the Optimist International Club.

Lynda was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She cared very deeply for her family and was always going above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. Lynda greatly enjoyed scrapbooking and oil painting and created many photo albums and memories for her family. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and to all who knew her. Her beautiful life will always be forever cherished in the lives of her family.

Lynda is preceded in death by her father, John E. McCormick, mother, Katherine D. McCormick, nephew, Matthew R. Johnson and brother-in-law Thomas M. Roberts.

Lynda is survived by her husband, Norman Teltow, son, Tom Teltow and wife Lisa Johnson of Aurora, daughter Katherine Conklin and husband David Conklin of Aurora, Daugher-in-law, Karen Burgesser of Aurora, sisters Jean Bevins of Aurora, Luann Roberts of Elizabeth, granddaughter Kyla Emmite and husband, Travis Emmite of Strasburg, grandson Dylan Conklin of Aurora, granddaughter Chelsey Callif and husband Matthew Callif of Aurora, grandson, Garrett Teltow of Aurora, great-grandaughter Carina Mashin, great-grandsons Elijah and Rowan Emmite. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, Aaron Bevins, Eric Bevins and Partner Lori, Jeremy and wife Stephanie Bevins, Melissa and husband Dan Johnson, Krystina and Javier Enriquez, Alec Roberts, great-nieces and nephews, Derek and wife Patty Johnson, Olivia and Caitlyn Johnson, Summer, Hope, Noah and Lucy Kimminau, Cadence, Eden, Israella and Valor Bevins and great-great-nephews Weston and Jax Johnson.
