Obituary of Carolyn Joyce Riddle

Carolyn Joyce Riddle, 79, of Parker, Colorado passed away on December 09, 2020. 

 

Carolyn was born on February 26, 1941 to parents Joseph Csom & Angela Csom (Szabo), and grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She then moved to Lenexa, Kansas in March of 1973 where she spent the majority of her adult life. She wed the love of her life, John "Jack" N. Riddle on July 17th, 1965 in Trumble, Connecticut, and went on to share many happy years together. Carolyn was a graduate from the Southern Connecticut University, and had a very fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher, as well as education sales. She and Jack moved to Parker, Colorado in 2013 to live with David and Cheryl. As much as she loved to cook, read, travel, knit, dog rescues, and doing crafts, Carolyn loved spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchilden - something that meant the world to her.

 

Carolyn is survived by her husband of many years, John N .Riddle. Children - David (and wife Cheryl) of Parker, Colorado, Timothy (and wife Jodi) of Overland Park, Kansas, and Bryan  of Pleasant Hill, California. Grandchildren - (David & Cheryl's Children) Joseph Riddle of Brooklyn, New York, Elizabeth Riddle of Parker, Colorado, and John Riddle of Parker, Colorado. (Tim & Jodi's Children) Greg Riddle of Overland Park, Kansas, and Scott Riddle of Overland Park, Kansas. Carolyn is also survived by her brother, Joseph Csom (and wife Marie) of Fairfield, Connecticut, and Sister-in-Law Ann Riddle  of Marlton, New Jersey. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will miss her deeply. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
