Obituary of Donald R. Spencer
Donald Ray Spencer, 86, of Centennial, Colorado went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2021.
Donald was born on January 27, 1935 in Butler, Oklahoma to adoring parents Glenn Spencer & Daphene Stockton Spencer. After completing High School, Donald attended one year at Anderson College in Anderson, Indiana. He had a dedicated career, and retired from Data Documents in 1994. When he wasn’t busy doing his favorite thing, spending time with his family, Donald was often snow skiing, water skiing, golfing, motorcycling, playing tennis, horse riding, and completing yard work. He had a great passion for the Denver Broncos & OU Sooners.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of many years, Linda Lowry Spencer, whom he married on June 23, 1956 in San Angelo, Texas. Daughter, Sherri Spencer Goudeau (husband Nathan Goudeau) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Son, Bobby Spencer (wife Danette Rapue Spencer) of Centennial, CO. He also leaves behind numerous Grandchildren and their spouses, Grandson, Tyler Goudeau & Aubrey Austin Goudeau of Highlands Ranch, CO, Grandson, Spencer Goudeau & Courtney Doyle Goudeau of Nashville, TN, Granddaughter, Carly Spencer Allen & Stephen Allen of Edmond, OK, and Granddaughter Tessa Spencer of Edmond, OK. In addition, Great Grandchildren, Tyler & Aubrey's children, Silas Alan Goudeau and Aspen Lynn Goudeau alongside Spencer & Courtney's Children, Libby Cait Goudeau, and Caroline Clarke Goudeau. Lastly, he is surived by his sister, Wanda Spencer Henderson of Clinton, OK. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Daphene Spencer of Butler, OK, and all of his brothers, Mindle of Pine Top, AZ, Arnold of Butler, OK, Thomas W. of Concrete, WA, Glenn L. of Cave Junction, OR, Joe of Lake Kiowa, TX, and Royce of Huntsville, TX.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Donald’s name to the Colorado Christian Services, Littleton Church of Christ Youth Ministry, or Mountain States Children's Home.
