Obituary of Daniel E. Rains

Daniel Edwin Rains, 61, of Elizabeth, Colorado passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on October 19, 2021.

Daniel was born in Denver, Colorado to loving parents Donald and Maryann (Smith) Rains on August 5, 1960. He graduated from Hinkley High School and went on to have a fulfilling career with the Elbert County Road and Bridge. Daniel loved all things hunting and fishing, but also lovee to attend sporting events. (Go Broncos!)

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Tania Rains of Elizbeth, Colorado whom he wed in Aurora in 2016, daughter, Megan Rains of Aurora, Colorado, first wife, Patti Koetter, mother, Maryann Rains of Aurora, Colorado and brothers Jerry (Rose) Rains and Tom (Kim) Rains all of Aurora. Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Donald Rains who passed in May of 2021.
