Obituary of Maria Zambrano
Obituary of Maria Malave Zambrano 89
Maria Zambrano, 89, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021 in Denver, Colorado. She was born August 15, 1932 in Carupano, Estado Sucre Venezuela.
Maria had a long-lasting marriage of 52 years and was a widow of her belated husband, Saturnino Zambrano. She was a dedicated homemaker and a mother of 9 children: Aracelis, Dagoberto, Oscar, Luz, Jose, Nino, Orlando, Eudis and Robert. She is survived by all her children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Maria came to live in the USA with her daughter Luz and her family in Parker, CO in the late 1990’s, where she lived for 22 years. The changes of living in a foreign country and being immersed in a new culture certainly posed some challenges, but she adapted very well to the change; growing a vast circle of friends around her while maintaining a comfortable career. As a housekeeper, she worked in the Rehabilitation Center Parker Valley Hope for many years until she retired. She was well loved by her coworkers and friends that she became acquainted with.
Maria was also quite the seasoned traveler, blessed with numerous opportunities to explore places around the world such as: Germany, Paris, Switzerland, Hawaii, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Colombia, to name a few of her favorites. She kept our home decorated with greenery with all of her house plants and flowers that she loved to care for daily. But the one thing she loved the most was her children and family, who will miss her dearly.
