Obituary of Thomas Evan Evans

Thomas Evan Evans was born June 28, 1937 in Highland Park, Illinois. The son of Rudolph Bruno Evans and Jean S. Evans (nee Aurore St. Jean). He graduated from Batavia High School and attended Northern Illinois University and Northwestern University, receiving his Bachelors in Physics. He moved to California in 1962, and attended Graduate School at USC, receiving a Masters in Electrical Engineering. He married Bette Jo Beaman on July 2, 1966.

Tom received two patents for holographic camera components. He was an engineer to the core - always enjoying taking things apart to study, and almost always putting them back together correctly.

Thomas is mourned by his wife of 55 years, Bette Jo, his children, Jennifer (Evans) Boulton and Thomas Harry alongside daughter-in-law, Heather (Smith) Evans and his granddaughter, Charlotte. Thomas is also mourned by his brother, Robert, sister-in-law, Inez, niece, Jeanie Borror (Brooks) and great nephews, Tyler Borror and Travis Borror. He also leaves behind nephew, Robert (Ana) and great nephews Ryan and Aaron alongside nephew, Paul (Madeline). Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughters, Cassandra Jo Boulton and Timithia Michelle Boulton.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations in Tom's memory be made to St. Matthew's Espiscopal Church, 19580 Pilgrims Place, Parker, CO 80138.
