Obituary of John T. Bradley

John T. Bradley, 59, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many, passed away on January 20, 2022. He was born in Moorhead, MN on September 25, 1962, the youngest of four children born to the late MSgt Richard J. and Ina C. “Connie” Bradley.

As a son of an Army veteran, frequent moves to posts across the US and Europe were a part of early his years. The Bradley family adopted Colorado Springs, CO as their “hometown” in 1975 after his father’s retirement from service. He graduated in 1981 from Widefield High School in Security, CO. He earned his BS in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology, Phoenix, AZ.

John’s career consisted of space and satellite operations in positions of engineer, analyst, mission operations engineer, deputy space system director, and satellite systems engineer. His experience also included similar positions in novel technologies related to oil and gas industries.

John and his future wife, Monica M. Haller, were classmates at Widefield High School. They reconnected in 1991 at their 10-year reunion. They purchased their first home in Castle Rock, CO and were married in Kauai, HI in 1998. In August of 2001, John and Monica welcomed their daughter, Olivia Reilly Bradley to the world.

The threesome relocated to Parker, CO in 2006. John was a devoted and doting father. Olivia was the sunshine of his life. With John and Monica being natural athletes and all sport enthusiasts, Olivia naturally followed their appreciation of sports. When Olivia zeroed in on softball at the age of 8, John and Monica fully supported her in every aspect of her journey. He was the ultimate “Softball Dad”. When her high school team won back-to-back State Championships, he was prouder than proud. And so much prouder and more supportive when she received a scholarship to Bradley University located in Peoria, IL where she is in her junior year of their nursing program.

He is preceded in death by his parents, MSgt. Richard J. and Ina C. “Connie” Bradley, In-Laws William (Bill) and Pauline (Hutnik) Haller. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Monica M. (Haller); cherished daughter, Olivia Reilly; brother, Richard M. Bradley of Cottonwood, AZ; sister, Mary M. Bradley (Arthur) of Reno, NV; brother, Robert E. Bradley (Celia) of Sahuarita, AZ; nephew, Richard J. (Lisa) Bradley of San Antonio, TX; nieces, Amber M. (Miguel) Rosalez of Austin, TX; and Angela M. Bradley of DeKalb, IL; as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.
