Obituary of Gale Dean Pipkin

Gale Dean Pipkin of Aurora, CO, died on March 19, 2022, at his home with his wife, Susan, at his side. Services will be held on March 30, 2022, 10:30 a.m., at Parker Bible Church, Parker, CO.  A private interment service will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO. 

 

Gale was born on September 25, 1951, to Harold and Hallie (Ritchey) Pipkin, Cheney, KS. Gale grew up on the family wheat farm.  Gale graduated from Kansas State College of Pittsburg, Pittsburg, KS, in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Arts Education.  Gale enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1972 and was honorably discharged in 1977. Gale and Susan (Hart) Pipkin were married on August 15, 1976, Coffeyville, KS, and welcomed the arrival of their sons, Joshua in 1982 and Daniel in 1984. Gale and Susan resided in Denver, CO, for 45 years. Gale‘s profession was construction management. 

 

Gale was a man of many talents and interests including woodworking, gardening, hunting, fishing and geneology.

 

Gale was a loving husband, father and grandfather of 8 who were the joy of his life.

 

Gale was a charter member of Parker Bible Church, Parker, CO. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the scriptures and the body of Christ. 

 

Gale is survived by his wife Susan (Hart) Pipkin of Aurora, CO; his 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Joshua and Megan Pipkin of Cortez, CO, and Daniel and Shira Pipkin of Broomfield, CO; 8 grandchildren; his 2 brothers and sisters-in law, David and Sherla Pipkin of Casper, Wyoming, and Ken and Brenda Pipkin of Cheney, KS.

 

Gale was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Hallie (Ritchie) Pipkin.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Parker Bible Church, designated “Missionaries”.
