Obituary of Katherine Mary Hall

Katherine Mary (Stebbins) Hall took her last steps home to be with her Lord in the early morning hours Friday March 25, 2022. Kathy was born August 2, 1949 in Tonasket Washington. Kathy’s father cut firewood to pay the doctor for his services.

Kathy and Mark lived in Venice Beach California in their early married years and moved to Franktown Colorado in 1984 where they raised their family.

Kathy was a faithful wife, mother and dear friend. She was loving and devoted to anyone blessed enough to call her friend, a countless number in her 72 years. She is remembered for her deep love for her Lord and Savior, her family and friends, quilting, sewing, thrift shopping and fiddle playing. Kathy was an introvert who loved people and blessed everyone that she met. Kathy was generous beyond measure and showed her deep love for her people by creatively showering them with her thrifty finds. Kathy was a creative artist, musician, seamstress, and decorator who always thought outside of the box, “what box” she would say. Mostly she loved Jesus and let everyone she met know that. Kathy was an encourager until the very end, wanting all who were in her presence to feel loved, supported, encouraged and cared for. All who knew her well, knew she had a spunky fast wit and loved to make you laugh.

Kathy is survived by Mark, her loving husband of 51 1/2 years, her three children Karen, Mike and Lilly, daughter in law Bethany. She is also survived by sisters Suzanne and Barbara and brother Richard. She is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Doris and her beloved in laws Eldon and Hildegard Hall.

A private service will be held for the family when the sun is shining and Kathy’s beautiful roses are in full bloom.
