Obituary of Kevin Lee Schwindt

Kevin Lee Schwindt, 57, of Franktown, Colorado passed peacefully from this life into the arms of God April 7^th, 2022 at the Denver Hospice Facility.

Kevin was a devoted and loving husband, father and son. Kevin was born May 22^nd 1964 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He married the love of his life, Deanne Ibelle on June 19^th 2006 in the amazing Turks and Caicos Providenciales.  Together they have raised a beautiful daughter, Hailey.

Kevin had a servant’s heart and served both his country and community first as a Military Policeman in The United States Army and afterwards as a Deputy with Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Some of his favorite hobbies included woodworking, dog training, fishing, riding ATV’s , tinkering in his workshop as well as cheering on his Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.  Kevin also enjoyed skiing, mountain biking and anything of historical nature. He lived the cowboy way and was an American Patriot through and through. Horses and Rodeos brought him great joy, however the time spent with his family and celebrating special holidays were his favorite.

A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 22^nd 2022 at the Pikes Peak Grange, 3093 N State Hwy 83, Franktown CO. 

Kevin was preceded in death by his Father, Melvin Schwindt, Maternal Grandparents, Eva & Jake Strecker, Paternal Grandparents, Henry & Katherine Schwindt, beloved Godparents, Ruth & Andrew Grentz, Aunts & Uncles, Bill Strecker, Marie Martin and Don & Carol Schwindt.  Kevin is survived by his loving Wife, Deanne and Daughter, Hailey (Franktown, CO), his Mother, Lori Schwindt (Lakewood, CO), Mother-in-Law, Jean Ann Ibelle ((Fitzwilliam, NH), Brother and Wife, Daryl and Gail Schwindt, Nephew, Luke Schwindt  (Denver, CO), Sister-in-Laws and Husbands,  Donna and Noel Fernandez, Mary and Steve Schwartz, Two Brother-in-Laws Douglas & David Ibelle, Uncle & Aunts Raymond & Donna Schwindt, Delphine Arends as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A good friend, Joe Weinmeier.

Pallbearers will be Dean Oaks, Tom Jacobson, Daryl Schwindt and Kevin Carlson.  Honorary Pallbearers are Noel Fernandez, Luke Schwindt, The Jefferson County Sheriffs Office and Fraternal Order of Police.

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Fraternal Order of Police, Harmony Equine Center (Franktown,CO) or Denver Hospice.
