Obituary of William Arthur Dupuis

William Arthur Dupuis, lovingly known as Bill, of Aurora, Colorado was a man of service and embodied what it means to be loyal and fun loving. He died on Tuesday May 10, 2022, in Aurora, Colorado. His life ended at the age of 82 after a 9-month battle with brain cancer.

Bill was born in Rhode Island on April 1, 1940, but lived throughout the world through his early life, served in the Army in his 20’s for 6 years, and then moved to Colorado with his wife, Marsha, over 40 years ago to start a family. Bill was the district manager of Farmer Brothers Coffee Company until he retired at the age of 61. Throughout his adult life, Bill was an integral part of Sertoma, an organization he was passionate about whose mission is to support the communities needs though volunteer service, primarily with a vision to improve the quality of life for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support. Additionally, his patience and passion for family soared during retirement when he continually supported his now deceased wife, Marsha, through her Doctoral program and was her rock during her battle with cancer until she passed in 2015. Bill was always an encouragement to his 2 daughters in their endeavors and spent most of his retired years giving generously in time and resources to his daughters and friends, playing golf, and enjoying the fruits of his labors.

Bill was a loving son, devoted husband, caring brother, incredible father, a superior role model and dear friend to many. Although he was a man of few words, his kind intentions were always respected and understood. He will be most remembered for his love and loyalty to his friends and family as well as his infectious smile and jovial spirit. Think of him when you enjoy some seafood, especially king crab legs, of which he enjoyed spoiling all of his best friends and family with.

He is survived by his significant other, Carolyn North, his sisters Mimi Laue and Arleen Hernandez, his daughters Britt-marie Sawyer and Andrea Renee Dupuis and many family members, and dear friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at the PACE Center in Parker, Colorado on June 9, 2022, at 2:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to www.cancerblows.com, one of many charities he loved to support.
