Obituary of Michael Ernest Westmoreland

Michael Ernest Westmoreland age 74 of Parker Colorado passed from this life into eternity on June 20^th 2022. Michael was born on July 21^st 1947 to Bernard and Dorothy (Hingley) Westmoreland in Denver Colorado. He had many accomplisments in his life such as obtaining his bachelors degree in Sociology, being a published author of one book and having a long career assisting the public as Food Stamp Management Agent. Mike met and married the love of his life Linda Claire Westmoreland(Conway) in 1970. Together Linda and Mike raised two children; Brian Westmoreland,  Jon Westmoreland of Denver and. He enjoyed reading the classics as well as swimmingand working out at the Parker Rec. Center.Michael was also a member of C.M.T. Branch Denver Area CMT is a Neurological disorder that Mike was very familiar with as both Linda and Jon have been diagnosed with.

 

 

Michael is survived by his wife and two children as well as Brothers: Patrick(Jeanne) and Danny(Deborah) one sister Sandra Westmoreland Two Grand Daughters Kaitlyn and Hannah Westmoreland and a host of nieces and nephews.

 

Mike loved to make jokes, kid around with people, loved to make people laugh everywhere he went.He loved to play with his grandchildren and read to them when they were young. Loved to make jokes and tell silly stories and enhanced stories of his life to make them laugh. He was loved by everyone that knew him. 

Where Mike went, laughter followed.

Mike enjoyed good food and loved to go out. He was very complimentary to his wife about dinners.

Played games with his grandchildren, children and his spouse.

He also enjoyed nights where we would look for favorite music on You Tube. 

 He really loved traveling. 

 

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish on Wednesday July 6^Th 2022 at 10:30 AM with a reception to follow.

Mike had a servants heart and having this in mind the family asks that if and friends or family wished to make a donation in Mikes memory that it be made to Catholic Charities or to a Charity that would assist the Children of Ukraine, or The Parker Food Bank.
