Obituary of Ann Conklin Weaver

Ann Weaver

1923 -2022

Ann Weaver was born on Feb. 25, 1923, in Delta, CO.  In 1944 she married her high school sweetheart, Dean Weaver. 

Both Ann and Dean grew up on the Western Slope of Colorado. 

Ann and Dean both went to DU and Ann got a bachelor’s degree in Physics, and Dean got a degree in Civil Engineering. 

They had four children, Katherine, Wes, Mary Jane, and Brenda.

After living in Denver for several years, the family made their home on a ranch in Parker.  Here they raised horses, cows, alfalfa, and children. 

Ann worked as a teacher’s aide for many years at Pine Lane Elementary School in Parker.

Eventually the two of them moved to Heritage at Eagle Bend in Aurora for their retirement years. 

Ann was a member of Parker United Methodist Church for 63 years.  Thank you to her church friends for enriching her life so beautifully. 

Morning Star has been a loving home for her for the last 5 and a half years.  She has wonderful friends and exceptionally caring care givers. Thank you to everyone for making her last home so full of love and compassion. 

On October 30 Ann took her last breaths on earth. Her spirit and love will remain forever in her 4 children, Kathy (John) Tedrick, Wes (Penny) Weaver, Mary Jane (Hugh) MacMillian and Brenda (James) Brown; 9 grandchildren, Chris Poppe (Lisa Sveland), Jennifer Poppe, Mollie Weaver (Simon Madrigal), Dustin (Janeah) Weaver, Heather Shewfelt, Robert (Stephanie) Shewfelt, Curtis Shewfelt, Andrew Gross and Demi Brown and 8 great- grandchildren, Jordan Yandell, Havily Weaver, Breindel Weaver, Creed Weaver, Braden Poppe, Tyler Poppe, Carson Shewfelt and Camren Shewfelt.  

Ann’s celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Parker United Methodist Church.
