Lorraine LeBlanc

Obituary of Lorraine LeBlanc

Lorraine R. LeBlanc, age 83, of Parker, CO passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.  She was born on February 10, 1939 in Berlin, New Hampshire, the daughter of Adele (Bourassa) and Leo LeBlanc.

Lorraine was a kind, gentle soul who deeply touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a great sense of humor and an extremely infectious smile that could light up any room. She is survived by her daughter Brenda, son-in law Brian, grandson Allan, and six wonderful siblings, as well as many other family and friends.

Lorraine grew up and spent most of her life in northern New Hampshire before moving to Colorado to be with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. She loved spending time with family, dining out, sewing for others, and spreading joy with her laughter and radiant smile.

Lorraine enjoyed TV game shows like Wheel of Fortune, and she excelled in word search games. She LOVED to play BINGO and was always a winner.

You would never see Lorraine without red lipstick and a pair of earrings on. She had earrings to go with every holiday. She had over 30 pairs just for Christmas.

On January 29th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, for our local friends, there will be an open house at Brenda & Brian’s house, to celebrate and share memories of Lorraine’s’ life. For those of you who would like to attend and do not have our address, please email Brenda at brendahuntliving@gmail.com.

For our Northeast family and friends, there will be a Celebration of Life the weekend of Mother’s Day. (Details forthcoming). For our many other friends and family around the country we know you are sending your love via calls, texts, and emails. We love you all.

In lieu of flowers, gifts or travel, donations are appreciated to Castle Country Assisted Living for the remodel of the Victorian House Kitchen. This is where Mom was well cared for and happily spent the last 9 years of her life. The newly renovated kitchen will be called “Lorraine’s Kitchen” in her memory!
