Obituary of Nellie Bain

Nellie Jane (Steele) Bain was born September 10, 1940 to James & Nellie (Servis) Steele in Moranville, MN. She moved with her family to International Falls, MN in 1942. She graduated from Falls High School in 1959. In 1960 she moved to Colorado, working for Martin Marietta, Honeywell, Rolei and served 21 years for the U.S.P.S., retiring in 2000.

She married Herman “Ted” Bain July 1, 1967.

She is survived by her son, Lon (Janell) Steele of Parker, CO; daughter, Theresa Kadrie of Kiowa, CO; grandchildren, Jessica & Jason McCasland of Aurora, CO & Kristi Kadrie of Kiowa, CO; great granddaughter, Alexandria Taylor of Aurora, CO; brother, Gene Steele of Centennial, CO; sister, Theresa Steele of Rochester, MN; brother in law, Lee Reinhart Grand Junction, CO; sisters in law, LaVernne Steele International Falls, MN RoseMarie Steele Aurora, CO and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; sisters, Gertrude Reinhart, Florence Horgen and Lorna Holler; brothers, Donnie & Jim Steele; her husband,Ted and son, Michael Bain.
