Obituary of Amanda R Fivehouse

It is with great sadness that the family of Amanda Rene Fivehouse announces her passing on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the age of 44. Her lighthearted humor, contagious smile and unconditional love for her family and friends was obvious to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her and will be missed. As a Sister, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, and Friend to many, she always had time to lend a listening ear and offer her advice or cry right along with you. She was the sweetest person many of us knew and we will all be lost without her shining light.

Amanda will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Megan. Amanda will also be forever remembered by her aunt and sidekick Annie, niece and nephew Mikhala and Jace, cousin Christopher, and her brother-in-law Grover. Her caring spirit will also be fondly remembered by her extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

Amanda was born and raised in Aurora, CO. She attended Gateway High School, then went on to complete her Associates degree at the Art Institute of Colorado. Amanda used her degree in graphic design to assist with different projects while she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Italco Food Products. After leaving Italco, Amanda went on to work at Accelerated Services for several years, where she met one of her dearest friends. Most recently Amanda worked alongside her aunt Annie at Artisan Design Group helping her design and estimate kitchen and bathroom projects.

While Amanda didn’t have any children of her own, she loved and cared for her niece and nephew, Mikhala and Jace, like they were her own. Amanda was very artistic and loved creating, this love was fostered by her aunt Marta. Together they would visit art exhibits, attend art classes, and tackle art projects of their own. When she wasn’t working or creating, Amanda enjoyed playing bunco and bingo, spending time with Annie and Christopher at home, and putting together Legos.

A private celebration of life will be held on April 8, 2022, at the home of Grover and Megan Perry.
