Obituary of Hattie A. Martin

Hattie Ann Martin, age 92, passed away on September 26, 2023, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Portland, Oregon, on July 12, 1931, to Anna and Johannes (John) Weltsch. She was married to Darrel Martin on August 5, 1951, in Yankton, Oregon.Hattie was a devoted and proud mother, grandmother, and wife, who enjoyed being a homemaker. Her hobbies included traveling, gardening, sewing, and baking.

Hattie’s family loved her deeply and will forever cherish the memories they shared together. She is survived by her sons Mark B. Martin of Fort Laramie, Wyoming, and Michael D. Martin of Parker, Colorado; daughter-in- law Joyce Martin of Parker, Colorado; granddaughters Jennifer Nible of Aurora, Colorado, and Heather Martin of Parker, Colorado; and great grandsons Treavor Martin of Parker, Colorado, and Gannon Nible of Aurora, Colorado.
