Obituary of Zachary W. Shores

Zachary William Shores (June 20, 1993 - January 22, 2024)

Zachary William Shores was born to Sally and Jeff Shores on June 20, 1993, in Valencia, California. He moved to Colorado at a young age and grew up in Parker, CO. Zach had a deep love for dogs and spent much of his youth playing baseball.

Described by one friend as "kind, generous, goofy, and loved his family more than anything," and by another as "one of my best friends who helped me through one of the darkest times in my life," Zach touched the lives of those around him.

Zach studied business at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He also contributed to the family business for several years.

Zach passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully from complications of epilepsy that he developed as a result of a traumatic brain injury in his youth. His final months were marked by sobriety, love, gratitude, and a strong desire to turn his life around.

Zach is survived by his mother Sally Shores, brother Nick Shores, and numerous other family members and friends.

Zach passed away on January 22, 2024, in Lakewood, CO. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
