To Pat's family and friends,
I am saddened to hear of your loss. I knew Pat through our children's participation in Westernairs. Sat and visited with Pat many Saturdays while Kristi and Angela were riding. Pat was such a comfort to me when Angela, Kristi, Suzy and her father were going on an overnight camping trip at White Ranch park. Angela's horse, Shadow, wanted no part of it. He bolted and ran into a fence full speed, sending him into a somersault over it. Angela and I were hysterical, but Pat's calm demeanor helped us get through it. Pat called later in day to see how we and horse were doing. She asked me to describe what happened and I used the word somersault. She said that is what she saw too but didn't trust her description until I said the same thing. Angela and Kristi did not keep in touch after Westernaires and we moved to Southern Colorado, ( where we still have Shadow, by the way) but memories of Pat are great.

Words can not express how sadden I am to have lost one of my best friends that was like a sister to me. Pat was my rock when I lost my husband eight years ago always there to listen when I had a bad day. Our love of horses brought us together and we spent many a day at shows. We loved sharing pictures of our grandkids and just sharing our life. God truly blessed me when he put Pat in my life and I will miss her dearly. My prayers are with her family.

My heart goes out to Pat's family. What a giving, loving woman! I had the pleasure of knowing Pat for at least the last 10 years, maybe more, time goes by so quickly. Pat was a client of mine and we spent a lot of time talking. I know the love she had for her family and how she adored her Grandchildren as well as a deep love for her children. Pat never said an unkind word of others. She was witty and kind, and always had that beautiful laugh behind her words. My dear Pat I will miss you!

Losing Pat like this has been probably the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. I've known Pat all these years as I worked with her and was one of the first people she met at Clifton Gunderson. We were so fortunate to have her in our world. She had such a smooth way about her, very soft spoken and hysterical at times with her comebacks in particular situations. I had the privilege of having lunch with Pat just over 2 weeks ago and had a marvelous time. We had such plans together for retirement. I will truly miss her wonderful smile and truly quiet way. She was a calming factor in my world. God Bless All!! My thoughts are prayers are unceasing. Martie
