I first met Terri in 6th grade, in Great Books. I was attending St John's at that time and she was at St Phil's. We didn't become friends until 8th grade, when my family switched to St Phil's. We both loved Star Trek, mostly Leonard Nimoy, in fact she was with me when I got Nimoy's autograph. She was also by my side when we ditched school, our one and only time, to go downtown and get autograph's from Lilian Gish. We were both big fans of silent movies and Miss Gish was one of our favorite actresses of that era. How could we possibly miss that opportunity. We spent countless hours at the library going through books about movie stars from the silent era, and we were both there for the opening of the Denver Center Cinema. They premiered their classic movie series with Douglas Fairbanks Sr movies because he was a Denver native. Imagine our glee when Fairbanks Jr himself sat down at the end of OUR aisle while he waited to be introduced.
We had many fun times together, and I have many cherished memories of our friendship. I'm very sorry I was not able to reconnect with her over these past many years. She was a sweet, gentle, wonderful woman and her loss is a profound one. To her family and friends, you have my deepest sympathy and condolences. All my prayers and love are with you at this time.
